英语尖尖角----Earth Day

、设计理念

在本课中,我根据教材内容,创设一个真实的情境,设计出不同课堂活动, 引导学生进行词汇和句型的讲解与训练。将枯燥的词汇以图片和问答的形式引出,进而进行详细的讲解,在讲解中再配备上相应的例句,会使学生更容易掌握生词的用法,并加强其记忆。练习巩固环节,我设置了不同的任务,让学生来完成,从而增强了学生参与学习的主动性,从而了解地球日的文化。

、教材分析

() 教学内容:

 本课时的教学内容选自《Primary English》学生用书四年级下册Culture 1 Earth Day.

() 重点和难点:

重点:学习本单元的一些词汇和句子。

难点:倡导每个人都应该保护我们的地球母亲。

三、学情分析:

地球日这个话题对于学生来说有些陌生,但保护地球的话题却是大家都很熟悉的话题。四年级的学生对英语的认知水平有所提高,但对生僻的词汇进行记忆与掌握也是很困难的,在为地球庆祝生日,从而提高学生保护地球的意识这样一个语境下来习得单词的用法较为容易。

Warm up (热身训练)

T: Hello, boys and girls. Today I am your new English Teacher. My name is

Mona. I’m glad to be here with all of you. I hope we can have a good time together. Are you happy?

Ss: Good morning, teacher! First, let’s enjoy a video. (播放《江南style》。)

Lead into (导入)

TEveryone has his own birthday. Can you tell me your birthday? When is it?

T: Can you tell me when your mother’s birthday is.

Ss: It’s on…

T: Our mother earth also has her own birthday---Earth Day. Today we will talk about the Earth Day.(板书题目)

T: How do you celebrate your birthday?

Ss: I eat birthday cake to celebrate my birthday.

T: I also have a cake for our earth. Let’s look at it.(幻灯片)

T: What’s it like?

Ss: It’s like a cake.

T: Is it a real cake? Let’s find the answer. (幻灯片)

课后反思:本节课我所讲授的是四年级下册文化单元。主题为“Earth Day”,因此本单元的词汇句型以表示保护地球,爱护环境的一些词汇为主。词汇教学是一个教学的重点,帮助学生较为轻松的掌握新词汇,了解地球日文化也是本节课的难点。我从导入、呈现、练习、自测、总结、作业这几个环节进行本节课的总体设计。具体反思如下:

通过直观教学,情景教学等手段赋予每个词汇生命,让词与词之间有着密切的联系,使得教学过程比较紧凑。同时很好的激发了学生学习词汇的兴趣,调动起他们的积极性,在良好的氛围和心里暗示下可以增强学生的记忆效率。另外我将板书设计成送给地球母亲的生日蛋糕这种形式,比较新颖独特,从而突出了重点单词的演示,学生直观感受性增强,记忆起来会更加轻松

应从多个层面来诠释单词,如:拼写、语音、构词特点等方面,但本节课涉及的较少。对于教材挖掘的不够深,不同层次的学生的心里需求是不一样的,应针对不同学生的特点进行习题由易到难的设计。学生是教学中的主体,一切应以学生为中心设计各项活动。学生之间的层次不同,认知水平不同,对于本身基础差的学生,思维及反应较慢,教师应在课堂上及时调整时间,兼顾各层次学生,能让他们跟上课堂节奏,让各个层次的学生都能得到不同程度的收获和学习能力的发展。此外,在学生课堂活动设计上应更注重实效性,绝不能为了形式而形式,让学生做到在学中练,在练中学。
