英语尖尖角----Earth Day

I. The analysis of the teaching contents:

This lesson is a culture lesson. It talks about the Earth Day. After learning this lesson, the Ss can get some information about the Earth Day, and know how to protect it in their daily lives.

II. The analysis of the students:

 The Ss have learned English for one year. They have strong interest and confidence in studying English and also can understand some simple words and some sentences now.

III. Teaching aims and demands:

 1. Ability aims:

After learning, the Ss can:

a.      Improve their listening and speaking ability;

b. know how to protect the earth in their daily lives.

2. Knowledge aims:

After learning, the Ss can:

a.      Learn the information about the Earth Day.

b.     Know some phrases about the Earth Day.

3.  Emotional aims:

After learning, the Ss will:

a. love the earth,

b. know the importance of protecting the earth.

IV. Teaching key points and difficult points:

2,show more beautiful pictures about the earth,

 1, Read the introduction.

2, watch the pictures and answer the questions.

用多媒体来学习地球的形成,简单直观.利用视觉和听觉冲击让学生感受震撼地球的美,为下面的不美做好铺垫.

 

Step 3,

While-reading

(15 mins)

Task2:

 Let the Ss think about the question.

“What is wrong with the earth now?”

Task3: Show

Some bad things of the earth to the Ss.

Learn the words. “trash”

Task4: Show some methods by PPT.

(If necessary allow them to use the native language.)

4, Look at the pictures and listen to the music.

Learn the new words.

5, Learn the new phrases.

通过给出悬念问题,让学生自己先思考,在给出一部分的地球现状,与先前的产生鲜明的对比.师生共同来解决怎么做?”

Post-reading

Task 5:

1, Do the practice “What is True and What is False?”

Task 6: Match the pictures and the phrases.

Task7: Check the answers.

以小组合作的形式来完成两个练习,从而培养学生的合作能力,让学生自己确定正误,综合锻炼了自我道德教育

Sum-up

Lead the Ss to sum up the contents of the lesson and sing the chant.

Sum up and sing the chant.

Make a chant by themselves.

帮助学生整理出本课内容,并在活泼快乐的氛围中结束本课的学习

 

Homework

1, Make a photos show about the earth in the class.

2, Listen and read the words and phrases.

Finish the homework and send the pictures to the teacher.

将课堂所学习的语言知识综合运用并延伸到课堂之外。用新颖的作业方式来激发学生的学习兴趣

教学反思

优点:

1,         利用多媒体来展现地球的“美”和“不美”,让学生可以直接的感受到教学的内容。

2,         有拯救地球从我做起这一情景入手,让学生带着任务去学习。

3,         利用小组合作来完成任务,培养了孩子的合作能力。

4,         教态自然,较有亲和力。

5,         开始有简笔画导入,形式较新颖。

缺点:

1,         在教学过程中没有充分的考虑学生的实际情况,部分学生接受较困难。

2,         在教学中操练的环节较少。应加大练习量,巩固学生。

3,         在教学中因为是借班上课,所以有些课堂用语学生不完全能理解。教学造成中间穿插部分汉语。

4,         板书设计仍有待于加强。
